1. Information We Collect

At SyncBatch, your privacy is our core priority. We only collect information strictly necessary to provide our contact syncing services:

Account Information: Your name, email address, and profile picture provided by Google OAuth.
Google OAuth Tokens: Short-lived access tokens to interact with the Google People API on your behalf. These tokens are processed strictly server-side and are sanitized (deleted) from all client-facing data objects before serialization to prevent inspection leaks in browser developer tools. We do not store your Google password.
Transient Contact Data: Contacts uploaded via Excel/CSV are processed in-memory for the duration of the sync. We do not permanently store your contact lists in our database.
Formatting & Label Customizations: Any prefix or suffix formatting rules you apply to contact names are stored transiently in your active session and are applied locally in the browser during sync execution or VCF export. They are never transmitted to or stored in our database.
Interface Preferences: We store your visual preference (light or dark mode selection) in your browser's local storage to preserve your chosen theme across sessions.
Security & Abuse Prevention Telemetry: We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect form endpoints and prevent automated abuse. When loading these forms, Cloudflare collects standard browser environment fingerprints and telemetry strictly to complete verification challenges.

2. No Sale or Unauthorized Sharing of Data

SyncBatch has a zero-tolerance policy for data selling.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information or contact data to third parties. Your contact data is never shared with any third-party services except for the Google People API (to perform the sync you requested), Razorpay (to process your payment), Resend (to dispatch organization invitation emails), and Cloudflare (to perform Turnstile bot challenge verification). We also utilize Microsoft Clarity to analyze user behavior telemetry (such as clicks and heatmaps) to improve our application's design; however, Microsoft Clarity has zero access to your uploaded contact spreadsheet data or credentials. We do not use your contact data for marketing, advertising, or profiling.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your information exclusively to provide and improve our services:

Facilitate the synchronization of contacts between your provided files and your Google account via the Google People API.
Process payments and manage your credit balance via Razorpay.
Provide administrative access and organization management features for team accounts, including sending transactional organization join emails.
Analyze usage trends and click interactions via Microsoft Clarity to identify interface improvements and fix performance bugs.
Improve our internal parsing logic to ensure accurate field detection.

4. Google API Disclosure & Limited Use

SyncBatch complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy. Specifically:

We use the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/contacts scope only to create, update, or delete contacts as explicitly requested by you.
We do not transfer this data to third parties unless necessary to provide the sync service, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger/acquisition.
We do not use this data for serving advertisements.
We do not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific entries (e.g., for support), it is necessary for security purposes, or to comply with legal obligations.

5. Data Retention & Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including HTTP-Only signed cookies to store user session data and state. Uploaded contact data is strictly transient and is purged from our system memory immediately after the synchronization session is completed. Furthermore, OAuth tokens are completely isolated on the server and stripped from user metadata APIs.
